Fitted with a mechanical safety clutch and an all-metal gearbox for improved longevity, these drills also have a 13mm keyed chuck, a torque limiter, variable speed adjustment and an ergonomic rubber coated grip handle that can be fitted to either side of the drill. These diamond core drills are capable of drilling up to 13mm in steel, 30mm in timber and 20mm in masonry, and they have a dry diamond core bit capacity of 152mm. They are suitable for drilling into brickwork, marble and tiles, so they are ideal for builders, plumbers, electricians, ventilation engineers and other tradespeople.

Medium duty wet and dry diamond core drills for hire feature a slow start trigger and 3 speed gear box, which allows you to drill slowly at the start of a job and then increase the speed as you continue. This provides clean and accurate core drilling results. An electronic positioning system gives guidance for precise drilling, whilst an an overload protection system pulsates to warn you of an approaching overload. If the load is not reduced then the motor will shut off. For maximum user control and comfort when drilling at any angle, the ergonomically designed D-handle can be moved 360° around the drill.

The heavy-duty diamond core drill and stand allow you to drill cores up to 400mm in diameter through materials such as concrete, brick, masonry, marble and steel.

The Husqvarna DM 340 diamond core drill included in this package is an extremely powerful, reliable and easy to use piece of core drilling equipment. This heavy-duty diamond core drill features a 3 speed motor, a water cooled gearbox and an LED indicator which shows the load of the machine and allows you to always drill at maximum pressure. These features combine to provide you with optimal drilling performance when working with tough materials. This drill also has Husqvarna’s Softstart feature, which uses an electronic current limiter to start the drill slowly when the trigger is pulled, and then increase the speed two seconds later. This ensures clean and accurate core drilling and helps to protect the drill from overloading. The DM 340 diamond core drill also has ‘Elgard’ - a feature that causes the drill to pulsate in order to alert the operator when it is becoming overloaded. If the load is not then reduced, the drill will shut off in order to protect itself. The drill stand allows for angled drilling, from 90 degrees to 60 degrees, and it can be used vertically or horizontally. This means that it can be set up to drill into walls, floors or ceilings. The Husqvarna DS 450 drill stand can also be used for stitch drilling - so you can drill multiple holes next to each other to make openings. This professional diamond core drill stand features an integrated vacuum base, which allows you to connect a dust removal vacuum unit very easily. This improves safety on site and reduces the mess created when drilling.
